Tallahassee Regional Airport's old terminal may soon undergo a $14 million makeover.
The building was vacated in 1989 when operations moved to the Ivan Monroe Terminal. Now, Flightline Development Corporation is hoping to give the old terminal new life through a development it's calling "Compass Point."
Site plans include a hotel complex, corporate condos, and a training center for Very Light Jets. Facilities for aircraft sales and maintenance are also planned.
Airport officials say they expect a ground breaking in about six to nine months. City commissioners approved the initial plan this week.
