The 2003 Chamber of Commerce's Community Survey put an emphasis on health care services and coverage. In fact, more than 80 percent of those surveyed would decline a new job if health insurance benefits were inadequate.
Chamber of Commerce spokesperson Jim Hunt says this sends a strong message. This year's survey was sponsored by Capital Health Plan, CEO John Hogan says the results also show its not just a question of affordable premiums, but what that premium actually pays for.
Now from here, the detailed results of the survey will be reviewed at a Chamber of Commerce conference this weekend. It will also be shared with the health care and business community in Leon County.
