Wakulla County Election Results

In Wakulla County incumbent Henry Vause was facing a challenger for the Democratic nomination in the District 2 commission race, and he has been ousted.

With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, George Green with 60 percent and Vause with 40 percent, so Green is your winner and now faces Republican Larry Taylor in November.

In the District 4 Democratic race for the county commission a pair of candidates are facing off to see who will challenge incumbent Howard Kessler in November. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Sally Gandy has 58 percent and Delacy Peavy with 42 percent, so Dandy heads to November to face Kessler.

In Wakulla County the District1 school board race pits incumbent Ray Gray against Ray Smith. With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Gray has 65 percent of the vote and Smith gets 35 percent of the vote, so Gray is your school board member.

The school board race in District 3 in Wakulla County has incumbent Becky Cook facing challenger Debbie Miles. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Cook has 62 percent of the vote and Debbie Miles has 38 percent.

And the school board District 5 race is a two person contest. With 100 percent of the vote in incumbent Jerry Evans gets 56 percent of the vote and Broward Sapp has 44 percent. Evans keeps his seat as your school board member, so Cook keeps her seat as school board member.
