Garrison Pilcher Elementary students got to spend the morning showing off their classrooms to their grandparents.
They ate breakfast, played on the computer, and showed all their work for the year to their special guests who really enjoyed the progress their children have made, and of course the children loved showing off.
Grandmother Marilyn Combs said, "How things have really changed since we've been in school, it's very challenging now, and seeing how the children can interact and learn and comprehend."
First grader Michael Dennison said, "I got a poster, a pencil, and a book. I love my family."
If some grandparents didn't get a chance to have some elementary fun with their grandchildren, they have another chance Friday starting at 8:30 in the morning.
