Updated: Fri 1:52 PM, Jun 20, 2003

A jury has found a Grady County, Georgia woman not guilty on charges of murder. The verdict follows two mistrials last year.

Sixty-one-year-old Martha Ann Johnson was arrested in June of last year on charges of felony murder, aggravated assault and the possession of a knife during the commission of a crime in the death of James Edward Herring.

Johnson previously served a five-year prison term after she was convicted of voluntary manslaughter in the 1980 shooting death of a Whigham, Georgia man.
