A former FCI guard at the center of a sex for drugs scandal pleads guilty in federal court.
Alfred Barnes admitting to one count of conspiracy, saying prison inmates sent him money to bring them makeup and cigars.
Court records also show he did favors for several inmates in exchange for sex.
As part of the plea deal, the U.S. Attorney’s Office says it plans to dismiss the other seven charges against Barnes.
His sentencing is set for Dec. 14, he could still face up to 20 years behind bars.
