Leon County deputies are going high-tech with their training.
Starting next month deputies will be able to take most of their mandatory retraining courses on their computers.
Sheriff Larry Campbell says this will help cut down on overtime and travel expenses for training at the Academy in Quincy, saving taxpayer dollars.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Orlando Police Department are also taking interest in the program developed in Leon County.
