Interim President Castell Bryant was congratulating students and faculty for FAMU's recent honor in Black Enterprise Magazine as the top university for African-Americans in the nation.

Bryant was also informing the crowd of changes on campus, changes some students say they are already noticing.

"More of the processes of the university are becoming more streamline in terms of paperwork, in terms of the gym getting air conditioning, in terms of we building more buildings to expand the university and parking facilities, all those are going to be positive changes," added Ashleigh Bolar, a third year MBA student.

Bryant also added she will continue to work hard at her commitment to return FAMU to one of the best institutions of higher learning in the nation.
