Absentee voting begins this week in Georgia. Those wishing to vote now for the November elections do not have to show valid photo ID.
Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedord is rejecting the state's most recent appeal to require voters to have valid photo ID.
Marquis Garland supports having a photo ID requirement and said, "We need IDs. I mean, everywhere you go you need ID. Even just to file a check, most of the time you need ID. You need ID, it's very important."
Voters now must use one of 17 proper identifications if they are taking part in absentee voting.
The state says it plans to appeal the ruling once again.
