Four hundred thirty four babies were born in September at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. It is the first time in the hospital's history that more than 400 babies were born in one month.
Kristi Blake, who just gave birth to her fourth baby, said, "People are having larger families it seems like these days, but I was really surprised to hear out of Tallahassee there were that many babies in one month."
Tallahassee Memorial Hospital employees in labor and delivery say they are busier than ever.
Nurses say October has continued to be busy. Sixty five babies were born in the first three days of the month.
