A Tallahassee attorney has been arrested, accused of over billing Leon County to the tune of $140,000.
John Eagen was arrested Friday on grand theft charges after an 18 month-long investigation. Deputies executed a search warrant and seized files from Eagen's office last June.
Eagen is a contract attorney, meaning the county paid him to handle child dependency cases.
The sheriff's department says Eagen overcharged the county a total of $145,000.
