Monday morning attorneys agreed on a March 22 trial date for Coy Evans.
Evans is accused of shooting and killing Sgt. Green during a home invasion on Melody Circle last November.
State attorney Willie Meggs is seeking the death penalty in the case. Word of the trial date comes just three days before the anniversary of the deadly shooting.
