Leon County commissioners will reconsider the waste management contract it approved just last month.
The issue was brought up Tuesday night by soon-to-be incoming commissioner John Dailey with Commissioner Jane Sauls asking to put it on an upcoming agenda.
There's concern the contract never went up for bidding. As approved now, customer rates will go up by 76 percent in April of next year, although Waste Management says the rates haven't budged in years.
The issue is scheduled for the next commission meeting on October 24.
