Hundreds of people gathered to share another year in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The Hispanic Festival is adding excitement with the rhythm of Latin music, costumes, traditional Hispanic food and shopping. Residents said it's a great way to absorb other cultures.
"I want to get more in tune with my Spanish side and culture, and I really haven't been able to do that. I thought this was going to be bigger, but it's really, it's nice and simple. I love it a lot," said Alexandra Dunn, learning her culture.
The proceeds from the festival are donated to the Hispanic-American Educational Scholarship, a Ronald McDonald House program helping high school seniors with their first year of college.
