An increased demand for tutoring is forcing one local university to consider an Internet alternative.
Valdosta State University is now offering its students online tutoring through AskOnline-dot-net.
The new platform will allow students to communicate with tutors wherever they have an Internet connection.
This comes on the heels of a sharp spike of tutoring visits, coupled with current budget constraints at the university.
VSU tutoring specialists hope the new program will give students the chance to seek support without having to actually get to the campus' tutoring center.
