Senate and House district candidates as well as county commissioner candidates will be on hand to answer questions at the university's Pound Hall.
The event starts 7 o'clock.
Organizers hope it will give voters a better understanding about where the candidates stand on particular issues.
"It gives the opportunity to hear and see the candidates and see what they represent and see what many of the students or community thinks about the platform they are running on," said Lowndes County resident Alfred Miller.
Pound Hall is located on VSU's north campus. Parking is free.
