A Tallahassee woman who has been missing since October 2 has been found safe just across the state line.
Forty-seven-year-old Dawn Sligh called co-workers at Goodwill that day, told them she had car trouble, and then disappeared.
Her family waited several days to report her missing. Deputies alerted us several days later, and now there is word out of Meigs, Georgia that Sligh is there safe and sound.
A spokesman for the Leon County Sheriff's Office says Sligh actually called deputies Monday night to say she was okay after hearing the missing persons report on the news.
