Leon County's Supervisor of Elections is once again in the national spotlight. Ion Sancho will appear in an HBO documentary called "Hacking Democracy" next month.
HBO says the documentary, put together by a British investigative team, "exposes the vulnerability of America's voting system."
It's set to debut on November 2, which timely considering the General Election follows five days later. Sancho and his office got a sneak preview Tuesday night, a flashback of his test that proved votes can be hacked.
He said, "Our demonstration shows the software and electronic components of it really do not have encryption or security to prevent it being accessed by unauthorized individuals if they had access to this."
Sancho's findings prompted increased security measures in Florida and elsewhere throughout the country.
