You've probably heard of a phenomenon called speed dating. The Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce is now introducing the capital city to "speed networking."
A chance for young professionals to spend five minutes exchanging information, before the music tells them to move on to the next one.
Anna Kay Hutchison, Access Tallahassee Chair says: "I think that every day we get sucked into our little world, our own environment, this really just opens our eyes to see what kind of other businesses are out there that we can network with and collaborate with."
Speed networking is popular in big cities like Chicago and L.A.
Tallahassee's first foray into the phenomenon was sold out, with more than 70 professionals signing up for the flurry of five minute meetings.
