New Resource for Area College Instructors

College instructors will soon have a new tool to keep students up on the latest research.

The Florida Distance Learning Center has received a $470,000 federal grant to develop a national model for digital repositories.

The grant, received through Tallahassee Community College, will help faculty keep up with current research that is constantly growing.

Instructors say often times Internet search engines don't have the capabilities to perform target searches.

The FDLC is a statewide network of all 39 public post-secondary institutions and serves 1.3 million students annually.
