It's their annual event featuring natural history exhibits, children's activities and wagon tours, but the main attraction was the prescribed burn, and our own Chief Meteorologist Mike McCall was on hand for the demonstration.

"The good fire is that fire that is mimicking a natural process. We want people to understand it's under control, that we are strategically placing it, and it's very important to managing land today," said Lane Green, Tall Timbers Executive Director.
The beautiful weather helped make the event a huge hit. Fire experts said the wind and humidity made for a successful blaze.
