The Thomas County prison warden has been asked to hand in her resignation weeks after accepting a job elsewhere.
The county manager tells us prior to October 25 Sandra Abrams accepted a state position in Albany.
The next day she told the county she was considering the job, but had not made up her mind.
Then on November 1 she said she wanted to keep her job as Warden in Thomas County, and on November 3 the county chairman asked Abrams for her resignation.
Abrams declined to comment on the matter. Her last day is November 16.
