A.J. Nicholson has been brought back to Tallahassee to face charges that he violated his probation.

Nicholson was arrested in Pinellas County earlier this week.

Thursday, he appeared before a circuit judge in Leon County and was ordered held without bond.

Prosecutor Jon Fuchs says Nicholson's probation had been transferred to North Carolina where he was to do 100 hours of community service and 60 days in a jail work camp.

Fuchs says there isn't a jail work camp there, so Nicholson has not been able to complete that part of his probation, and there is no documentation to prove he served his community service hours either.

Fuchs says that could be the result of a paperwork snafu, or it's possible Nicholson hasn't completed any of those hours.
