A flag was driven around the two mile race track as the National Anthem played and people remembered those who've served this country.
Special shirts were handed out to local veterans. This idea was originated by a veteran and next year they hope the even will get bigger.
James Natale, a veteran, said, "The only way to celebrate anything is to be with your family and friends, that's the best part.”
Some veterans in attendance have served in World War II and some are currently serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
