Authorities are searching for two children missing after their family's boat sank in Lake County.
According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, eight-year-old Eric Singleton and his two-year-old sister Kaytlin were with their parents and three-month-old sister when their boat sank late last night in Lake Yale.
Lake County authorities say the father was able to paddle to shore, carrying the three-month old. The infant was airlifted to the hospital as a precaution.
Authorities later found the mother in the water wearing a life jacket. She was taken to the hospital for hypothermia.
Boats, a helicopter and the Lake County Sheriff's Office dive team are searching today for Eric and Kaytlin Singleton.
It's still not clear how the 16-foot recreational boat sank.
