Alzheimer's disease is a progressive brain disorder that gradually destroys a person's memory.
There is no known cure, but there are advances being made to detect the onset of the disease.
Tallahassee Memorial Hospital's Memory Disorder Clinic is offering free memory screenings along with the Alzheimer Resource Center of Tallahassee.
Residents are given the change to test their memory in hopes of finding problems before its too late.
If you missed today's memory screening you can make the trip to the Taylor County Health Department in Perry on Friday from 9-11:30 a.m.
