Today South Georgia Medical Center held a drive-thru flu shot drive.
Hundreds of people lined up in their cars to get vaccinated, but the Lowndes County Health Department says they've had to turn people away because they're still waiting on the rest of their shipment.
Dr. Lynne Feldman, South Health District Director, said, "So far we've only received about 40 percent of our order and we expect to have the rest by next Tuesday, so we're hoping that people have not given up on the flu vaccine because it is a very important way to protect yourself."
The CDC says more than 110 million doses are being made for this flu season, a record amount.
