November is Native American month.
Jim Hale is a Native American, and a counselor at Hand-In-Hand Elementary, he says he loves the chance to teach young children about his culture.
Singing songs and sharing the history of Native Americans, Hale hopes the children leave with a better understanding of his family's way of life.
Hale said, "I hope they will see there are other cultures, including us, that we're still here, and that we can all work together."
Teachers say the children learned so much, but especially enjoyed dancing to the Native American music.
