Friday, Tallahassee Community College students were taken on a trip around the world.
A beautiful array colors could be seen on campus as students from over 70 nations carried their flag in the second annual Parade of Nations.
This event was the culmination of the college's observance of International Education Week. The goal of the event is to celebrate and promote international education and exchange.
"They are carrying the flag of their country outside of their native land, so I think it is very emotional for some of them, but they are very proud to be able to do that," said Betty Jenson, an international student advisor with TCC.
International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education.
