Kids of all ages enjoyed many holiday festivities at Goodwood Museum and Gardens. Many people saddled up for carriage rides and even indulged in the sweet taste of cotton candy.
The special moment of the day was the arrival of the North Pole's most famous celebrity, Santa.
Andrea Powers, a mother who enjoys the event, said, "It seems more like old time family fun. Just to be able to relax and the carriage rides are wonderful. The kids get to run around and play and do arts and crafts."
Santa's appearance wasn't the eye catcher for kids, as a live owl and even a baby alligator stole the show.
The children were in for a quick lesson on “animals 101.”
