Monday night undercover police officers busted three men trying to deal drugs on Tallahassee's streets.
The arrests took place in a parking lot off Apalachee Parkway and Magnolia Drive with the help of a canine unit. The undercover cops seized ecstasy, three handguns, drug money and 66 grams of cocaine.
Tallahassee police and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement officers have been investigating this case for more than a month.
"In the course of the takedown involving the arrest of the suspects we discovered the drugs we were looking for, but we also found that they were all armed. All three suspects had handguns on them, which is a little bit unusual for us," said SGT Ernie Stoll with the Tallahassee Police Department.
One of the suspects is a convicted felon. Another had a warrant out for his arrest. The latest charges range from trafficking cocaine to possessing firearms and violating probation.
