A single mom in Tallahassee is hoping for a little help this holiday in taking care of her disabled daughter.
It's one of more than 600 families on the Christmas Connection wish list.
The nine-year-old girl is a second grader at a local elementary school. She suffers from cerebral palsy and has a host of medical problems. She's going to need the help of a very special person out there, as her mother needs some pricey equipment to help care for her.
She needs a Blue Wave Bath chair so her mother can bathe her and a "Rifton" chair to help her sit upright so she can do her homework. She'd also like some computer games and some books under the tree.
This is case #412. If you can help this little girl and her mom, drop donations at the Christmas Connection, 1000 West Tharpe Street in Tallahassee, or call 222-2180 for more information.
