They're trading in their uniforms and badges for aprons and menus, and the best part is it's all for a good cause.
Leon County sheriff's deputies and Tallahassee police officers are hosting the seventh annual Cops for Kids.
They're stepping in as waiters at Marie Livingston's Steakhouse and using the tips they earn to purchase bicycles for children for Christmas.
"It’s a good cause and something we're glad to come out after a day of work to do another evening’s work to help the children," said Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell.
Cops for Kids at Marie Livingston's is held Friday and Saturday nights.
