Deputy in Accident with a Suspected Drunk Driver

The Leon County Sheriff's office says around 9:30 Friday night Deputy Mark Thompson was traveling on Woodville Highway responding to a call, when 60-year-old Gregory Glass ran a stop sign and hit the deputy's marked patrol car. The deputy sustained minor injuries. He was treated at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and later released. Both cars involved in the crash are considered a total loss. Glass has been arrested for driving under the influence with injuries, and is being held in the Leon County Jail.
