Students Debate in the State Capital

The Florida Association of Student Council hosted the event at the State Capitol.

Three hundred fifty students talked about different issues in their schools.

Some of the hot topics were school uniforms, ATMs on campus, and security cameras on buses. Each issue is voted on, and if passed it will be represented to the state.

"I think it's gonna get the students voice out there and let the state know what were feeling and what we think about what issues are important to us," said Molly Bryan, a Leon High School student.

Teachers said this is a wonderful example of hard working and dedicated students who will lead us boldly into the future.
