History has come alive in more than one-way at Florida A&M University this week.
Construction crews discovered a treasure from the past while working on the expansion of the black archives building.
University officials say a backhoe scraped into what is thought to be a well from the mid 1800.
Construction workers believe it is more likely a cistern, which is an underground water tank, which crews say is still a very rare discovery.
Either way, Gainous has requested to make the historical find a part of the new archives building.
