Horses seem to fascinate most kids. These children are sharing are their love for horses with other children who for some have never been this close to a horse before.
KB Horse Camp Student Lauren Crews says, "Now we're like braiding the main and tail, putting glitter on the horses."
KB Horse Camp is putting on this free event to teach children what the rodeo is all about.
KB Horse Camp Owner Kim McGhee says, "Not a lot of kids get to mess with horses because sometimes horse back riding is too expensive. Letting them have fun with other kids so my students know what it feels like to be able to give instead of receive."
There's a lot to learn about these animals.
Camp student Sierra Griner says, "I like doing barrels and poles and all that stuff and grooming the horses stuff like that."
Many lessons these kids are learning now will carry with them as they ride through out life.
