All Motorists Accounted for in Colorado Avalanche

Authorities say they think they've accounted for all the vehicles that were buried by a Colorado avalanche.

The snow slide knocked two cars off a mountain pass on the main highway leading to one of the state's largest ski areas.

Eight people were rescued from the buried vehicles and all were taken to area hospitals. Details of their conditions are not available.

The massive slide occurred on US 40 near Berthoud Pass, about 50 miles west of Denver on the way to Winter Park Resort.

Three snow storms in as many weeks have dumped more than four feet of snow on parts of Colorado. Authorities say they haven't had time to test all slide areas.
