Burke Trades Badge for Bible

There are more changes at the top at the Tallahassee Police Department as Captain Kelly Burke retires.

Burke has worked at TPD for 25 years to the day, joining the force January 11th, 1982 and working his way up from patrol to a seat on the command staff.

Burke is trading in his gun and badge for a Bible. He'll be ordained as a minister on Sunday.

Fellow officers say he's a natural. He's counseled officers for years, helping them to cope with family crises and the murders of Dale Green and Ernie Ponce de Leon.
