School leaders, alumni and students begin celebrating 100 years of graduating classes, making Leon High the longest accredited high school in the state of Florida.

Organizers say many of the alumni live and work all over the world, but many make up a large part of the Tallahassee community.

"The neatest thing to me is really driving up that hill and looking at this beautiful school sitting up on the hill and recognizing my father and my grandfather went here and all the things that happened before me," said Loranee Ausley, who graduated from Leon.

Events are planned for the celebration and tickets go on sale for the Grand Reunion being held on Saturday, April 14.
