Parrot heads camped out Friday night on the cold concrete of the Tallahassee-Leon Civic Center, hoping to grab the best seats in the house for the upcoming Jimmy Buffet concert.
Tickets for the February 10th concert go on sale at ten o'clock Saturday morning. Fans were singing Jimmy Buffet songs, holding signs and ordering pizzas.
Some fans got there as early as 1:30 Friday afternoon. Prices range from $39.50 to $125.
"I'm not gonna afford rent. I can't even pay rent to get these tickets, but it’s well worth it. I love Jimmy, he's a great guy. I don't know how long he's gonna be touring, so I said, pardon my language, forget it. I'm gonna put my rent up and I'm gonna buy these tickets," said Joe Piotrowski.
Tickets can be purchased at the Civic Center box office or through Ticketmaster.
The February 10th concert is one of the largest fundraisers for the United Way of the Big Bend. All proceeds will benefit United Way charities.
