A roundtable discussion was held Monday at the Tallahassee Progressive Center.

Middle and high-schoolers gave their thoughts on King's legacy, as well as their feelings on HIV and AIDS prevention and staying abstinent until marriage.

"We are trying to get the information out, but if it is not reinforced at home, it is a mute point. I think it is important that we get kids actually talking and asking questions, but it's important that their parents reinforce that information as well," said organizer Brian Henderson, who hopes to have this roundtable with the children every year.
