More signs are up along I-10, due to all of the construction, but people are still not slowing down.
A spokesperson for the Florida Department of Transportation says people are not obeying the 60 mph notices.
"We are doing more than enough. We have signs posted on both sides, all up and down I-10, east and west. I think they just hadn't got use to the idea yet," said Johnnie House with the FDOT.
House says it's all about safety for both the motorists and workers.
