Around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday night an Amber Alert was issued when a woman says her car was stolen with her three-year-old infant son in the back seat.
Officers pursued the car and later called off pursuit to not endanger the child. Later a Leon County deputy noticed the car at a Circle K and apprehended the suspect and his passenger.
It was learned that the driver was 37-year-old William Dishman, a man wanted on attempted murder charges for beating his girlfriend with a baseball bat.
Dishman is being held at the Leon County Jail on numerous charges, with other charges pending.
