Gibson was accused of battering his girlfriend and trying to run over a Tallahassee police officer as he fled the scene back in December of 2002.
The jury got the case just after 2 p.m. Friday afternoon, and after about three hours of deliberation returned with a guilty verdict on both counts: battery and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
