This marks the first time in two years that the temperature slipped below the 20 degree mark.
Valdosta recorded a low temperature of 23, while Perry hit 20, and even Apalachicola got down to 25. Bainbridge was one of the warmer spots. They only recorded a low of 28.
The coldest temperature reported was from a viewer in O'Brien, with a low of 15 degrees.
Meteorologist Ray Hawthorne says the colder-than-average weather will last through Monday before much warmer temperatures arrive for the rest of next week.
