The 6 year old boy was bit in the face by a neighbor's dog who escaped from his fenced- in yard. The child was taken to the hospital. Leon County deputies and Animal Control arrived on scene to capture the dog. The victim's father, Timothy Morris, heard his son screaming during the attack. "We were out in the front yard getting ready to go out of town and I heard a dog bark and my son yell. I came running around the side of the van and he had blood coming off of his face."
Morris says his son is doing fine and expected to make a full recovery. Deputies say the dog lunged toward them in attack mode so they had to taser him. Animal Control is holding the dog for ten days before it can be returned to it's owner.
