Tallahassee police say Charles Gatlin was arrested Friday night after the TPD Vice Unit conducted a drug dog sniff on his vehicle and discovered a small amount of cocaine.
Gatlin was charged with one count of possession of cocaine and released from the Leon County Jail on a $1000 bond. He has been suspended with pay pending the result of an internal investigation.
Gatlin has been a City of Tallahassee employee since 1987.
