LOGANVILLE, Ga. (AP) - A brush fire has destroyed four homes and damaged six others in a retirement community in Loganville.
Officials say the fire started yesterday afternoon in a ten-acre kudzu patch and spread to homes in the area. Officials say the fire created winds of up to 30 miles per hour.
It took about 40 firefighters to bring the blaze under control. One firefighter and a resident were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
