Wednesday evening the city commission voted to move forward on several issues related to the Frenchtown CRA, including amending the previous budget, reflecting corrections. Also passed, the city will hold monthly meetings to update staff, the commission and the public on the CRA.
Michael Parker, City of Tallahassee Planning Department, said, "it's going very well. We we're very conservative. We've been able to put a lot of money back into the community."
The city and county commissions are working together to help fund the improvements going on in Frenchtown. Thursday there will be a meeting to talk more about the downtown CRA.
